Hello! I'm a Linux novice (berry is the first Linux distro that I'm going to install in my harddisk)
Firstly I have poor skills in my English so please forgive me. Now this is my problem:
I've used the 0.98 version of berry as Live CD and I really liked. Even more than fedora or mandriva (distros that I've already used) but when I was working in OpenOffice Writer, I realized that I wasn't writing in my own keyboard language distribution (Latinamerica Spanish). So I tried to configure it, but when I opened the keyboard config I wasn't able to find the Spanish language.
So am I a moron? xD
well... does berry Linux have support for that IME (Spanish)?
and if so
what is its name?
and if not
I'll be able to add/install the IME after installing the Berry Linux Distribution?

I think that knowing how to install more IMEs should be useful for any user whose language don't being supported in Berry (that's almost impossible, I know but it could be useful)
And just as a suggestion: Why do not give Spanish support to the Berry Linux distro? (the first thing that comes to my mind is the installation space on the ISO image but well... who knows? me not)
wave take care guys. See ya!

hi Nazuno-Kun,

First off, welcome to DSO!.

I know that there is a "special characters" plugin for Openoffice.org  at http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/project/ComposeSpecialCharacters.  However, a way to define "styles" (found at http://user.services.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=9732&p=45634#p45634) is supposedly the best way to do this.  The style discussion allows you to change back and forth easily between language formats.

I hope this helps!
